Course objectives
- Explain what artificial intelligence (AI) is and how it is applied in a business context
- Describe roles in AI and their responsibilities
- Identify the basic principles of GenAI
- Mitigate the risks of AI and avoid common pitfalls
- Identify the risks associated with the use of AI in the operations of financial institutions
- Determine at which stage of AI implementation certain risks arise
- Explain how AI could be applied in the work of the compliance professional and what the potential advantages and disadvantages (integrity risks) of this are
- Distinguish between the different categories of AI as defined by the EU AI Act and identify the requirements for high-risk AI systems
- Describe the requirements under the EU AI Act that the compliance function is responsible for monitoring
- Describe the content and application of the FRIA and the ALTAI
- Describe what AI monitoring needs to be put in place and which risks can be managed as a result
