Many areas of financial services have been impacted by digitalisation and this trend is
likely to accelerate in the near future. In this module, we will examine the impact of
digitalisation and financial technology (fintech) in banking.
Topics covered will include digitalisation of banking services, an introduction to big data
and artificial intelligence and how they are being utilised in the financial services sector,
including robo-advisors, distributed ledger technology and blockchain, and use of social
media.

Learning control

Your online self-control test consists of 15 to 20 multiple choice questions. You will pass the test if you reach at least 70% of the maximum score.
