Listed companies and shareholders often see the process of going public as an end goal rather than a starting point. Instead, their journey starts indeed on their IPO day.

With the aim to support issuers throughout their life as public companies, Academy – Euronext Group, in collaboration with Euronext Oslo Børs, have designed a training that covers the main obligations under the Market Abuse Regulation, also in light of the amendment introduced by the Listing Act, key disclosure rules and procedures regarding unlawful disclosure, insider trading and market manipulation. 

The course will provide delegates with an overview of:

• The key principles of the Market Abuse Regulation in Norway
• An overview of the main changes in MAR resulting from implementation of the EU Listing Act
• Assessment of inside information and routines for delayed disclosure
• The prohibition against market abuse – unlawful disclosure, insider trading and market manipulation
• Primary insiders – legal responsibilities and closed periods
• Contact with supervisory authorities and related sanctions

Target Audience

This training programme is relevant and addressed to all issuers admitted to trading on Euronext Oslo Børs, Euronext Expand and Euronext Growth Oslo, and particularly to:

• Legal and compliance departments
• IR departments
• Board members and C-suites

Faculty

Cecilie Bøe is a Managing Associate at the law firm BAHR, with expertise in equity capital markets transactions, including IPOs and capital raises. She regularly advises public companies and their executive management and board members on equity capital market matters and securities regulation. Cecilie also has experience from Oslo Børs where she worked at the Listing department.
